Our Vision

Our Vision is to see God’s Kingdom come.

Jesus taught his discples to pray that God's kingdom would come and his will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. (Matt. 6:10), and that we are to ‘seek first the kingdom of God' (Matt. 6:33)

Jesus taught that the kingdom comes in two ways:

1. When individuals receive an inward experience of transformation, through faith in Jesus

2. When his disciples ‘go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation' (Matt. 28:18)

When God's kingdom comes and individual lives are transformed, they will impact and bring transformation to the people and the city around them.

How do we see this happening?

'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments. (Matt. 22:37-40)

The vision of our church is worked out in ‘Loving God, Loving People, and Loving Life.’

For our vision to be realised, we believe we have to respond proactively to the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the people in our city. Jesus ministered to every part of the person, and we seek to be holistic in our approach and programme in serving the community.
